I M VERY HAPPY WITH MY ACHIEVEMENT WHEN I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT TEFL WAS NOT VERY SURE ABOUT IT BUT THEN I BROWSE A LOT I UNDERSTOOD WHAT TEFL IS AND HOW IT IS USEFUL FOR THE SOCIETY THEN I DECIDED TO GO FOR THE COURSE . I SPECIFICALLY CHOOSE YOUNG LEARNER PROGRAM BECAUSE I WANT TO HELP CHILDREN IN THEIR EARLY AGE . SO THAT THEY CAN SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE SPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE NON NATIVE SPEAKERS . EVEN IT HELPED ME TO IMPROVE MY LANGUAGE PRONUNCIATION TO MANY EXTENT I CAN SPEAK CONFIDENTLY EVEN I STARTED TAKING SPOKEN LANGUAGE CLASSES FOR ADULTS AND EVEN I KEEP EDUCATING PEOPLE AROUND ME TO LEARN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE MANY PARENTS NOT ABLE TO SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE I WANT TO HELP SUCH PARENTS. Following are a few additional comments:
1) FAQ for Assignment section has some questions which are not relevant to the end-term assignment (Q 11 to 14). It seems that assignment tasks were updated and FAQs are not.
2) The instruction section states ‘All the questions have to be answered otherwise you will not be allowed to proceed. Please be informed that without answering the questions, even if you click on Submit button, it would not be submitted.’
However, this is not true. I had attempted 21 questions in MCQ2 and mistakenly pressed some button (not sure which one) and my MCQ got submitted (only to get me 70% marks when I had attempted only 75% of the task!). The IT team needs to work on this.
3) Videos may be linked to the respective Phase in each module for better clarity. As of now, all the videos are dumped in one section and there is no apparent nomenclature to tell the learner when to watch which video.
4) MCQ tasks may be given at the end of each phase. This will enable the learners to assess themselves and ascertain them to revise or move forward with the course.

Learning is a life long process that turns out best when it is put into practice. My experience through the new learning was highly interesting, motivating and captivating. While some of the concepts were new altogether, some others were familiar which got a new lease of life and refinement during this experience of learning. The new concepts and knowledge enhanced the existing status in a positive manner. The recency effect of my experience has raised my spirits to newer levels and raised hopes of a better and happier future. I loved the feeling of being immersed in an academic pursuit for myself, and thoroughly engaged with the course and the assignments that gave me a much-needed retake on my theoretical knowledge. I have over 16 years of training experience under my belt, so it was great to pause and re-assess where I want to go. The lesson planning component of the TESOL component of the course is a good way to impel new aspirants forward, especially in having to source teaching material, and allowing trainers to gain a 360-degree perspective to instruction, which I feel is sorely lacking outside of this course.
