This course was completely new to me as I am from a non-teaching background and it helped me to correct my thoughts towards the profession of teaching. I learned that teaching requires a lot of preparation and effort though it may look otherwise. Through planning systematically and by using different tools, you can make any topic interesting for the students and help them to learn better. As I embark on this new journey, I hope that the lessons I have learned will help me succeed.

I really enjoyed doing this course. The self-paced aspect helped me to spread my reading as per my convenience. I learned a lot of different jargons and approaches in Business English. As an English Literature teacher, I have always avoided the language-teaching component, for I have always considered it dull and tedious because of the grammar. But this course has helped me gain a new perspective, and I am now eager to take up the language-teaching component and make it as interactive as possible in my classrooms.

I did have some troubles at first but I gradually got the hold of it. I guess going to classes would have been a more surreal experience, I kind of regret that part. But thoroughly loved learning at a brisk pace, it was enlightening.

Throughout the course there was immense support from the teachers as well as the co - ordinator. Each and every step was supported with utmost dedication by the teachers . The course material was easy enough and very detailed with enough examples and self explanatory diagrams and charts. The assignments were also helpful enough to make me understand clearly as to what was read and learned from the course content provided . The checked assignments were detailed enough to exactly pinpoint where the mistake was made and also tips were provided as to how to go about with the corrections so as to enhance the re written assignment
