The 3 weeks at ACT was a realisation of the fact that 'Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire'. It was thoroughly enriching and insightful. As someone from a non-education field, I specifically chose this course initially only for getting the TEFL Certificate. As the saying goes, people make a home. I relate this to how June brought the course material to life and relevance to me.
Through a well planned combination of theory and activities, a very intensive 3-weeks course somehow made sense very quickly. I am very happy I made the decision to join this course and especially thankful that I got June as the trainer. Concepts were well explained so that even someone from a non-education field could understand the reason and process of it.
Personally, I found the course very informative and now feel confident of taking on English Language Teaching/Training as my new career choice.
